Privacy Policy

Who we are

Panda Lead Hunter is a lead generation tool that automates the discovery, qualification and outreach drafting for local business prospects. When you use Panda Lead Hunter, you agree to the collection and processing of data as described in this policy.

Data we collect about you

  • Account data — your email address, name, and profile picture, provided via Google OAuth when you sign in.
  • Usage data — the searches you run (niche, location, service), credits consumed, and leads generated.
  • Gmail OAuth token — if you connect Gmail, we store an OAuth access and refresh token to send emails on your behalf. We never read your existing emails, only send new ones you explicitly trigger.
  • Payment data — handled entirely by Stripe. We do not store your card details.

Data we collect about third-party businesses

When you run a scan, Panda Lead Hunter retrieves and processes publicly available information about local businesses, including:

  • Business name, address, and phone number from Google Maps listings
  • Website URL from the Google Maps listing
  • Publicly visible email addresses found on the business's own website (e.g. on contact pages)
  • Technical characteristics of the business's public website (load speed, HTTPS status, page word count, etc.)

This data is sourced from publicly accessible locations and is used solely to qualify and enrich lead records for the user who ran the scan. We do not sell this data to third parties.

How we use your data

  • To operate the service and generate lead reports
  • To send emails on your behalf when you use the Gmail integration
  • To process payments and manage credits
  • To improve the product (aggregated, anonymised usage patterns only)

Legal basis (UK/EU GDPR)

We process your personal data on the basis of:

  • Contract performance — processing necessary to provide the service you signed up for.
  • Legitimate interests — improving the product and preventing abuse, where this does not override your rights.
  • Consent — for Gmail integration, which you can revoke at any time via Settings.

Data retention

Your account data and generated leads are retained for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual scan results at any time. To request full account deletion, contact us at the address below.

Third-party services

  • Google Places API — used to retrieve business listings. Subject to Google's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
  • Anthropic Claude API — used to generate outreach messages. Prompts contain business name, address, and website data only. No personal user data is sent.
  • Stripe — payment processing. Your card data is handled exclusively by Stripe and never stored by us.
  • Neon (PostgreSQL) — database hosting in the EU/US.
  • Vercel — application hosting.

Your rights

Under UK/EU GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data; to object to or restrict processing; and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email us at the address below. We will respond within 30 days.

Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account and using Panda Lead Hunter you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Description of service

Panda Lead Hunter is a software tool that:

  • Searches Google Maps for local businesses matching your criteria
  • Automatically visits those businesses' public websites to collect publicly visible contact information and identify technical issues
  • Uses AI to draft personalised outreach messages based on the findings
  • Optionally sends those messages via your connected Gmail account

Scan results are estimates. We make no guarantee that all contact information is current or accurate.

3. Credits and payment

  • Credits are prepaid and consumed at a rate of 1 credit per business scanned. If you scan 20 businesses, 20 credits are charged — exactly.
  • If your local area has fewer businesses than requested, the unused credits are refunded automatically to your account.
  • Credits are non-refundable once a scan has completed, unless the pipeline failed before any results were produced, in which case credits are automatically refunded in full.
  • Credits do not expire. Prices are subject to change with 14 days' notice.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use Panda Lead Hunter for spam, harassment, or any unsolicited bulk messaging in violation of applicable law (including UK PECR, GDPR, CAN-SPAM)
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the service
  • Resell scan results or lead data to third parties without our written consent
  • Use the service to target individuals (as opposed to businesses)

You are solely responsible for how you use the leads and messages generated. Outreach must comply with applicable anti-spam and data protection laws in your jurisdiction.

5. Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for purpose of any data or AI-generated content. Use lead data at your own discretion.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Panda Lead Hunter shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 30 days preceding the claim.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may close your account at any time.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Data Sources & Methodology

How Panda Lead Hunter finds businesses

Each scan uses the Google Places API (New) to query Google Maps for businesses matching your niche and location. Google returns up to 100 unique business listings per query. If your target lead count isn't met by the primary query, a second nearby query may be run automatically (maximum 2 Google queries per scan).

How Panda Lead Hunter qualifies businesses

For each business returned by Google, Panda Lead Hunter:

  1. Extracts the phone number from the Google Maps listing
  2. Visits the business's public website (if one is listed) to look for publicly visible email addresses, contact forms, and basic technical signals
  3. Classifies the phone number as mobile or landline based on country-specific number patterns
  4. Calculates a reachability score based on what contact methods were found (email 20%, mobile 40%, landline 20%, website 20%)

What "scanned" means vs "qualified"

The Scanned count is the total number of unique, active businesses examined during a scan. The Qualified count is how many of those passed your lead target and had enough contact information to be useful. The difference represents businesses that were unavailable, had no contact information, or didn't match your contact filters.

AI-generated outreach

Outreach messages are generated by Anthropic's Claude AI using the business's name, address, website URL, and detected technical weaknesses as context. The messages are drafts — always review before sending. Panda Lead Hunter does not guarantee that generated content is accurate, appropriate, or legally compliant for your use case.

Data freshness

Business data comes from Google Maps at the time of each scan and reflects whatever Google has indexed. Phone numbers, emails, and website content may change. Panda Lead Hunter is not responsible for outdated information sourced from Google or third-party websites.
